Cuddly Critters Rescue

September 2012: Gordon aka here at Cuddly Critters now. Gordon is a big handsome white boy with black skin markings around his face and rump. His exact age is unknown, however he is at least 6 years old, he is approximately 18” tall by 36” long and weights 180 to 200 pounds. Gordon was picked up roaming the streets of Redding California and was in the Shasta County Animal Shelter. Gordon does seem to want to trust however he is very cautious and a little leery of people. He is very standoffish but is slowly coming around. We took him to the vets office and he did get neutered, shots, worming, hooves trimmed and tusks cut.  He is such a cute big guy...he really wants to be friendly but with all that he has been through... it is going to take some time for him to trust again. If we can find him a forever home, we would love to adopt him out...however, he has a forever home here if we can't find him a forever home. He would need to go to someone who has had a pig before and understands piggies...I think he has just been misunderstood as some of them have been. If there is anyone who would want to help with his vet costs through a donation to Cuddly Critters or payment made directly to the vet...any amount would be appreciated...if they donate to Cuddly Critters, they would be able to write it off as permitted by law, since we are a Non-Profit Organization. If you have room in your home and heart for this handsome big boy or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
